Better Than Friday - 242 (Patreon)

Hello friends! Happy Friday.

Several reviews coming your way, hope you enjoy when they drop.

Thanks so much for your continued support and have a great weekend.

That Ripley series has been great so far, should you need something to watch...Beautiful cinematography. Love the soundtrack and Caravaggio integration.

Meanwhile -

1. Book to read: The Poems of Walt Whitman (Paid Link)

Time to get acquainted with Whitman. Seems like a good Summer read.

2. Black Metal's Unexplored Fringes - One Man Metal

Claaaasssic Vice doc.

That scream - Rad

3. Joe Strummer - Love Kills

Perfect track.

4. Why Leopoldo Lugones wanted to Kill Borges

Interesting documentary (English subtitles)

Cool to hear about Borges' history in Buenos Aires and get some context.

5. Kierkegaard and the Horror of Doubt

Kierkegaard wrote an unfinished work called Johanes Climacus.

Interesting premise - Is it possible to doubt anything?

His multiple pseudonyms remind me of the Heteronyms of Fernando Pessoa.

I've got Fear and Trembling (Paid Link) on the shelf, been meaning to read it for years.
