Better Than Friday - 256 (Patreon)

Good evening everyone!

Hope all is well, just finished shooting a review of the twisted horror novel 'The Cormorant' (Paid Link) by the British Horror author Stephen Gregory. Quite the experience, even for a seasoned veteran of horror. Well written and atmospheric, but read at your own risk.

Hope you're having a nice evening, and reading something terrific.

1. Play to read - La Vida es Sueño | Life is a dream by Pedro Calderon de la Barca (Paid Link)

An intriguing drama by one of the highly influential playwrights of Spain's Golden Age, whose fans include Lord Byron, Goethe, and Borges.

2. Cruel Intentions

A guilty pleasure.

Still love this one. What a culmination of the 90's.

3. The Myriad Cancellations of Nina Power, who is still not a Nazi.

And never has been.

4. Chris Zeischegg's Podcast

Really enjoying the short interviews Chris does with modern authors in horror and transgressive fiction. Very interesting for writers.

5. Born Free

As far as pop stars go, I always thought MIA did it right.

Great Suicide sample.
