Better Than Friday - 260 (Patreon)

Good evening everyone, getting back on track here.

Just posted a review of The Oresteia by Aeschylus if you haven't yet had the chance.

Writing the review for the next installment of the Sexual Personae series.

Have a great weekend and thank you so much for all your support.

1. John Waters approved new poetry - Scandals by Alex Osman (Paid Link)

Sent to me by Ira, many thanks.

Trashy, sharp and humorous poetry from a new author.

An interesting release. Looking forward to reading.

2. Hotel Du Nord (1938)

Fantastic dark classic French film directed by Marcel Carné, recommended to me by the talented filmmaker Michael William West @michaelwilliamwest

3. The Disturbing Painting That No One Can Solve

Sent to me by friend & patron Nico - Thanks so much!

Salome and the floating head of John the Baptist in Gustave Moreau's 'The Apparition'.

This is wild - Another friend & patron literally just sent me a picture he took after visiting the actual painting itself.

Uncanny...

4. Mid 80's German Industrial/Ebm - Push! by The Invincible Spirit

Sick track I came across this last week. For fans of DAF and Fad Gadget.

5. Rare interview with Francis Bacon 1971

Great excerpt, wish I could find the full BBC interview.
