Better Than Friday - 265 (Patreon)

Good evening ya'll, how goes?

Currently reading Please Kill Me: The Uncensored Oral History of Punk by Legs McNeil and Gillian McClain (Paid Link), great so far.

Thank you so much for your continued support and have a great weekend.

1. Book to read about Charles Manson and the CIA - CHAOS by Tom O'Neill (Paid Link)

Haven't ever read anything about Manson yet. This looks promising.

2. One of my favorite interviews of all time

Vincent Price on a British television talk show Aspel & Company.

His wit and timing are unparalleled.

3. Roman Polanski on "Rosemary's Baby" - Conversations Inside The Criterion Collection

Rewatching this right now on Prime.

Mia Farrow gives a great performance, and so does John Cassavetes, a great director himself, who I forgot was in it. He's a director playing actor playing an actor.

Excellent film and compelling interviews in this segment.

Crazy that Frank Sinatra divorced Mia Farrow during production, as mentioned in the video.

4. The New York Dolls Live

Legendary. Johnny Thunders on guitar.

I've posted the track before, but you gotta watch them live. Total Rock & Roll.

5. When life gets you down

Look at this gibbon.

I enjoyed the comment from John Cleese demanding to know from where they obtained the video of him.

Nice to have a delivery person with a sense of humor.
