Better Than Friday - 271 (Patreon)

Good evening everyone, hope you're all well.

Editing the review for 'The Obscene Bird of Night' by José Donoso, and currently reading 'The Atrocity Exhibition' by Ballard.

Moving from one story of insanity to another. Quite a journey.

1. Horror Book I recently picked up - Last Days by Brian Evenson (Paid Link)

What looks to be like an interesting collection of strange dark stories.

I've not yet read Evenson but he caught my eye.

Anyone out there read him?

2. Atrocity Exhibition by Joy Division

A classic track whose title comes from Ballard's book.

3. JG Ballard - Face to Face Interview

An insightful interview.

I found his thoughts on modern technology fascinating.

4. Tim Dillon annihilates his aunt after a rude comment

What must be one of the most vicious attacks in comedic History.

Hysterical.

5. The Vanity Fair piece by Vincenzo Barney on Cormac McCarthy’s Muse

Scandalous, but one hell of a story.

Sent to me by Chris, thanks man.
