Good evening everyone, I'm out of town for my Aunt's wedding this week in Prescott, Arizona (beautiful, first time out here), so I'm afraid no Better Than Friday this week.

However, a new Philip K. Dick review (my first) of 'The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch' shall be dropping soon, hopefully by the end of the weekend.

Thank you for your patience. It's a very meaningful occasion, my Aunt's finally found true love later in life, so it was important to be here. I'm walking her down the aisle, as we're the only two surviving members on our side of the family.

Here's a quick snapshot from my travel day. This afternoon a young woman stopped me in the Denver airport exclaiming 'Are you the guy from Peaky Blinders?'

I insisted I wasn't him. But she wanted to take a photo with me anyway.

Fookin 'ell.

I'll take it as a compliment.

Also, that dude recently just pleaded guilty to amphetamine and crack cocaine possession but hey.

Hope you're having a nice evening.

Thanks a ton for the continued support. It really means a lot.

Very, very excited to see this PKD review. That’s very lovely that you’re there for your aunt. I’ve also got a very small family. I hope the wedding is a great time, and you have safe travels back home!

Excited to see the PKD review. I recently finished his book ‘The Penultimate Truth’ and he (albeit in a sorta rudimentary way) predicted algorithmic learning and AI deepfakes in 1964. Truly ahead of his time. Loved Palmer Eldritch, it gave me some flashbacks to the psychedelics period of my life for SURE. Cheers man! Happy for your aunt.

Prescott, AZ is lovely. If you have an opportunity, check out some of the "old west" bars on Whiskey Row. Some fun history there

Arizona is beautiful indeed. I hope you guys have extra time to check the Painted Desert. Looking forward to your review of The Three Stigmata, for this topic is each and every day consuming more and more of the life as we know it and in incredible speed. Best wishes for the wedding and the trip altogether!

Funny that you got misidentified as the Peaky Blinders guy. A few years back a lady was absolutely convinced I was Prince Harry despite the fact that we were at a shell festival in Ft. Lauderdale (where, of course, royals hang out). And then soon after that another woman and her daughter stopped me while walking up the stairs at a little AirBnb on the beach and said they thought I was "Dexter" from the show. People are funny sometimes. Hope the wedding and trip were enjoyable!
