Good evening ya'll, how ya doin?

Recently posted the review for Ted Kaczynski's "Technological Slavery", hope you enjoy.

Wishing you a nice weekend.

Thank you so much for continuing to support the show.

1. Book sent to me: Herzog by Saul Bellow (Paid Link)

This was a kind gift from friend and patron Dax - Thank you very much!

Herzog is the story of a man who is going through hell but perseveres.

2. "Texan reads electric bill like he's in a Faulkner novel."

Terrific. Sent to me by my brother.

3. The Conversation directed by Francis Ford Coppola

Saw this for the first time the other day on my wife's recommendation.

Genius stuff. That bathroom scene...Terrifying.

4. Fear and Loathing in the Age of Ai by the Functional Melancholic

Been watching this guy a bit recently. Darkly humorous. Good perspective.

Crazy that people are already (literally) worshipping Ai, no?

5. Gats by Susumu Hirasawa

Also known as "The Guts Theme" (which has become a meme) from the anime "Berserk".

I haven't seen Berserk (not an anime guy usually) but @gdimitroff_ posted a Mishima quote with this track accompanying, and I thought 'Damn that hits hard'.

The Texan reading the electric bill might be the best short form video content I've ever seen

Thanks for Friday, Cliff. Great stuff as always.

The Texan Reading the Electric Bill is fantastic. Also, the book about being late to work and standing there, contemplating it all … yeah that hits home. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Can’t wait to read that one.
