I find the books that resonate loudest with me often arrive through the quietest murmurs. Like an off hand reference to Pessoa on blog of an internet stranger, or a second hand book whose title confuses me. I feel its often the less I initially comprehend of a novel the more confrontational it will eventually be. Thanks for the deep dive into your thoughts on this topic!

I bought a mug, because why not, have you ever read any John Barth? Sot-Weed Factor or Giles Goat-Boy? Highly recommended. The first was a chore, but good, the latter I fell in love with.
