Content

Hello everyone, hope you're well, I've made it to Texas and will be producing as much content as possible in the weeks to come.

Thanks as always for all your support.

1. Currently on my shelf: E.M. Cioran's 'A Short History of Decay'

E.M. Cioran writes a particular type of scathing philosophy that is at the same time appalling and hysterical.

The first of his I read was 'The Trouble With Being Born'.

It's filled with aphorisms such as the following.

“What I know at sixty, I knew as well at twenty. Forty years of a long, a superfluous, labor of verification.”

I look forward to this next one very much.

Should you ever find yourself in the middle of an existential crisis, it's a reminder that you're not alone. You may even find yourself laughing.

2. Coco Chanel and...The Nazis?

Apparently Coco Chanel formed an alliance with the Nazis and became a spy. Outrageous story.

3. SPORTS

Sometimes less is more.

Watching the tattooed lead singer of this Swedish Post-Punk band attempt to fuck-up a game of tennis creates an amazing music video.

4. I'm mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it anymore!

Do you ever get the feeling like this scene from Network was way too prescient?

5. The Order of Death - P.I.L.

Post-Sex Pistols Johnny Rotten really had some great moments.

This is what you want.

This is what you get.

Austin in the background.

I don't know why it took me as long as it did to find Cioran, but man, do I wish I could re-discover him! Required reading, for sure!

Love the song Order of Death from P.I.L. -One of Johnny Rotten's best singles since splitting with the Sex Pistols in 1978. Have a great weekend. Enjoy Texas!
