Good afternoon everyone, hope you have a marvelous weekend.

I was reminded this week that yoga helps with stress.

I've been out of practice for a couple of years and naturally felt stiff as hell going in for a session the other day, but it seriously helps. Especially hot yoga.

1. Currently Reading - Chuck Pahlaniuk's Book On Writing Fiction

So far I'm really enjoying this - straight to the point.

2. Then and Now - An Interesting Youtube Channel about History and Philosophy

Planning on making my way through these videos.

3. Anybody else starting to feel like the guys in the jail cell in "Down By Law"?

I scream.

You scream.

We all scream...

...For Ice Cream.

4. Clarice Lispector and Psychoanalysis

Sent to me by a viewer on instagram.

5. Pray Them Bars Away

I feel like there's a whole genre of songs from 'Men in Prison' characters, and this is one of the greatest. Somehow you have the cynicism, humor, and melancholy string arrangements on the same track. Doesn't get better than Lee Hazlewood.

No filter, beautiful.

Love down by law. Just curious: any plans on reading more Javier Marias in the foreseeable future? I know you’ve got a lot on your plate (by the way, how’s gravity’s rainbow coming along?) I’d highly recommend his ”Tomorrow in the battle think on me”. That title comes from shakespeare as well, just as ”a heart so white” did. It’s a great book, very mich like a sequel or a spiritual successor.

I really enjoy Chuck's writing, it feels really smooth for me. Never read that one though. Cheers from Brazil! Hope you read more brazilian novels in the future.
