Good shit Cliff. As always. I noticed a copy of Naked Lunch up on the shelf. Are you going to dive into that sometime in the future?

Jacob

Sweet! I’ll be looking forward to your thoughts on more Beat literature, sir.

I'd never heard of Blasim, so appreciated the episode very much. Looking forward too to hearing which Poe story is your favorite. (I especially like the ones named after female characters, e.g., Ligeia and Morella, but also "The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar," where the central character ultimately dissolves into a pile of putrescent goo, but also "The Gold Bug," which got me interested in cryptograms when I was about 9.) BTW, at about 1:12, Belvoir Castle was mentioned. I'm pretty sure that Belvoir is actually pronounced "beaver"! You can never trust those English names to be pronounced the way they're spelled, e.g., Pontefract ("Pum-frit"), Cholmondeley ("Chumley"), and my surname!
