You’re giving me Michael Gira vibes as you’ve aged!

Lucas Pessoa

Found kinda pretentious. Good review tho

Lucas Pessoa

Guess the whole"he's actually the sane one" bit

Brock Eldon

I loved the NIN bit. The banging at the end made me laugh! Maybe cut it down a bit. I wouldn't scrap it...you also make it make sense when you explain it's been on replay for you during quarantine. You could cut the Fantano bit? My two cents...

Brock Eldon

Great review. Really enjoyed this. Glad you got to it!

Seneca Hall

the NIN part is very cringe. keep it in. cringe is the new authenticity.

Matthew Clarke-Venters

This makes me want to revisit the Downward Spiral and Hamlet. So, you've succeeded on both fronts!

Also, I think you're going love Macbeth if you haven't read that yet.

Keep NIN. The word cringe is kinda useless in this scenario tbh. The main point is that it’s entertaining; it adds a familiarity and intimacy to the book review and shows that u liked what u read. I thought it was a very fun and genuinely good thing to add. The only way it’s cringe is because we aren’t used to it🤩

Just saw an interesting interview on You Tube with Harold Bloom and Charlie Rose. Apparently, Bloom has a short book out on Hamlet. He basically called it the best literary work of all time.

Donald Wright

Another great revenge tale (although I'm not in any way comparing it to the greatness of Hamlet): Dumas's The Count of Monte Cristo. (No film can possibly do it justice.) It's almost unbearably exciting. A great review of Hamlet! Thanks for the links too.

Donald Wright

What an astounding intellect Bloom had! It was a joy listening to him speak with Charlie Rose.
