Good evening everyone, hope you have a great weekend.

Here's some stuff to keep you entertained.

1. Book to read this Halloween season - The Devil by Giovani Papini

Had this one on the shelf for awhile, Giovani Papini's 'The Devil: Notes on a Future Diabology"Papini was an Italian author, journalist and oddball who fell from grace after becoming a fascist during WW2.

That being said, he was called 'Underservedly forgotten' by Jorge Luis Borges.

This book looks to be fascinating, as Papini was an athiest in his early years who, like other authors I enjoy (I'm specifically thinking of Huysmans' conversion), become a devout Christian in his later life.

Anybody read this one?

2. How to Shit by Ottessa MoshfeghA great essay on writing.

3. Milo Manara

An  Italian erotic graphic artist who worked with both Federico Fellini and Alejandro Jodorowsky.

I recently found a rare book by him at a store here in town. He reminds me of Guido Crepax. Has some interesting things to say regarding eroticism and time in this clip.

4. It would be best to die having seen Rammstein at least once

I can't get over that dude on the treadmill.

An undeniably powerful spectacle.

5. Kyle McLachlan in the Criterion Room

It's impossible to dislike this guy.

F.Scott & Zelda apparently used to party at that hotel, the recently renovated Don Cesar.

Have not yet been inside, costs a billion dollars a night.
