The opening with the sun rising in the background looked so peaceful.

Excelente revisión! It is such a great novel. Hemingway's excellent short stories are also worth a damn. Thank you, Cliff!

Dusted off my copy of The Sun Also Rises. Starting rereading it this morning in a local coffee shop over coffee and a pain au chocolat 👍

Haven't had a chance to watch the review yet, but looking forward to doing so soon. I just finished reading 'Hills Like White Elephants' and 'The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber' for an American Literature class I'm taking at the local Community College. I signed up for this class at age 50 largely inspired by your reviews!

Just finished the book, enjoyed it but I think I prefer his others ones like For whom the bells tolls or Farewell to arms or The old man and the sea. This being said, easy to read, it flows naturally, there is a joie de vivre despite the issue with the main character. It reminds of my own part of the country in Portugal where bullfighting is quite a thing (nowadsys vegetarian though and against it, haha) bought Everybody behaves badly and will read it now since it seems quite promissing and spicy given the characters despicted in the book and Hemingway himself. Cheers for the great review as always.
