End of the Japantown segment. Crack open an egg. Face your fears. There's a big mean snake lady in this one.

The door to leave the elevator after the party conversation (trying to be spoiler free) doesn't seem to be working. Reloading and doing the section again doesn't fix it.

Yea it seems there's a bug with the elevator after leaving the ''2nd challenger''. The game freezes, although the music's still jamming, so thats nice.

McLionmane

huh.. ok, so I messed around a little, and apparently pushing the reset button fixed the issue

Zenthicks

Fixed this, I'll put a bugfix update out soon.

I still cannot, for the life of me, figure out why this elevator keeps bugging out for people. Gaaah! The reset button has absolutely no shared switches with the door and there's no logical reason pressing it should work. Absolutely mind-boggling.

Okay I finally managed to replicate the freeze. And I think I figured out what's causing it. It's the stupidest thing I've ever seen: - The 2nd challenger's room has an always-running event so that the game can check whether the breadbox is in position. - If the breadbox is in position, it turns Switch 1 on to tell the game the NPC should crash into it. - This is the same switch the next room uses to know you've reached the cutscene start zone. Normally, the switch should reset when you go to the next room, but in the split second between the elevator door opening and Amber walking into it, that always-running event triggers again, and since the breadbox's remains are still "in position," the switch turns back on. The game then tries to start the cutscene with Amber in the wrong spot, causing her path to get stuck against a wall. - This explains why the reset switch fixes it. It moves the breadbox out of position. Jesus Christ. Thank you for helping, I never would've figured this out on my own.
