exclusive: Tyler, the Creator - Music Inspired by Illumination & Dr. Seuss' The Grinch (album reaction) (Patreon)

what a title lmao

sorry this is a little (5 days, oof) late, i'm in the middle of a move and had 3 videos to edit with sensitive eyes from a rash 😵 hehe

Extra afterthoughts:

• This album is extremely underrated as a holiday album lol it's perfect for christmastime. I kinda want it on vinyl for next year
• I just noticed it was released in the middle of November of 2018, not sure why that seems so wild to me
• The Flower Boy resemblances are uncanny, to the point where i wonder if some instruments were lifted straight out of those project files lol. Which is kinda cool because I do think of FB as a late summer album, but this is fully winter!!!
• Wish there was a more dark/grinchy type beat, but maybe he was too scared to do something like that because he was trying to rebrand from his older/moodier works
• If it was for a movie, it was probably a really big deal for Tyler since iirc he wanted to get into movie scoring (he mentioned this around IGOR though, so maybe this project was inspiration for that aspiration!)
• Favourites: Hot Chocolate, Big Bag
• Least favourite: None! The whole EP reflects the xmas spirit as environmental aesthetics. Gets you in the mood 🎄
