# TIME9LINEbeta Update (v1.1.0)
I built TIME9LINE because I felt that existing timeline and node-based tools are *just too much of a hassle — too unwelcoming to first-timers*.
Keyframes, bone names, figuring out which node connects to which… once you get over that wall, they're powerful. But the wall at the start is way too tall. And at the same time, actually making things move is fun. So why not have something that *lets you move stuff without having to memorize all that*? That was the starting point.
This update follows the same direction. Three main pillars this time.

Face
*Face (expression) support is in.*
I'd been on the fence about this one. Other expression plugins are already really good, and I didn't want to step on their toes. But after getting a request and thinking it through properly, something clicked: *those plugins lean toward randomness / ambient motion, while TIME9LINE is about control* — "this expression, on this frame." Seen that way, it's genuinely essential.
As long as it can be switched on/off, it coexists with other plugins just fine. Once I saw it that way, there was no hesitation.
The Char tab now has an *Fa* button with three modes: record with the body, record face only, or leave the face alone. It pairs nicely with other expression plugins and with combos like Hijack.

Anime
This was supposed to be a minor add-on — "as long as it plays" — but it ended up packing in quite a lot.
You can now *cut an A-to-B section from an animation* and use just that slice as a frame — the range bar lets you set both start and end. Favorites / history tabs and one-click loop counts were added too, so arranging existing animations on the timeline has become a lot more comfortable.

## Camera (Cine Mode — experimental)
Camera motion has always felt like it has its own quirks, so the camera gets its own easing and effect parameters.
Includes Camera Curve (12 types), Shake, Dolly Zoom (the Vertigo effect), and more. Since it's experimental, just set sliders to 0 or toggles to OFF if any of it isn't to your taste.
---
Plus plenty of smaller updates: TIME9LINE icon on Studio's left toolbar, hover tooltips on easing buttons, stronger bulk conversion, improved frame selection, and so on.
Full details are in the manual addendum.

(Face)
---
(Anime)
