It might be debatable, but Roberta in the Black Lagoon universe is the character who had the most "human" reaction in the entire series. Revy or Balalaika wouldn't have done the same, except perhaps out of pure vengeance, and even then... That's perhaps why she doesn't die. She ends up in a wheelchair, very frail certainly, but not in a coffin. Perhaps it's the author's reward for showing the little humanity she had left by wanting to protect what little of her newfound family she had. Okay, it's true that it's not very visible here. But I'm not going to upset a woman who has a gun. I'm not crazy.

In the Black Lagoon universe, she—along with Revy and Balalaika—is considered one of the three most dangerous women on the planet. 😅 While some might prefer her look with braids and a maid outfit, I personally much prefer this long-haired style. 😘 It’s a look that shows her with all the limiters on her combat prowess removed. 😇
