Dev Log 24: Kitchen Update and a new computer setup IRL (thank you!) (Patreon)

Hello everyone, would like to talk about what's coming next. A lot of new scenes have been added to the game already in the WIP and still a HUGE amount to be added. Also, getting a new setup thanks to you all, more about that below.

I have been hard at work, trying my best to balance my job and game dev, this update is pretty big and I have basically only completely 35% of the planned new scenes. All these new scenes are being added to the kitchen. Till now, it was pretty much empty with no actual scenes. Only when cooking, there was a chance for your family to show up and the scenes were not well written.I decided instead of simply doing an improvement on those scenes, I would completely overhaul the entire event system there. Now, father and brother are split for their completely different personalities. Currently, I have only completed the writing for the father, there have been 22 new scenes already added and with the brother and mother still left, there is a huge number of scenes going to be added just for the cooking part.

There will also be completely new events with their own scenes while actually having the meal. Think sneaky sneaky stuff under the table ;)But huge chance these events will be added to the next update as this update is already huge and time consuming.

On the non-game side of things. I am doing pretty well, as mentioned in the update post, I was feeling a bit burnt out. Decided to take a break from game dev for a full week and during that week... planned a whole new setup. Right now, I am working on a laptop (which is why my 3D journey quickly hit a dead end) and am really excited for this new setup. And this is only possible because of y'all. Without your support I would never be able to afford this or even THINK about getting all this. I have been saving up all the money earned from here and decided, it's time to spend on myself and not just utilities and essentials. Something just for me. Nothing crazy though, just something I can use for 3D and so on.So, really, from the bottom of my heart thank you for your support. Excited for the future and all its possibilities.
