I'm a video. TV settings are totally fucked and complicated for no good reason - generally speaking they exist for the sake of a marketing edge to trick stupid people into thinking one TV is better than another. Only about 1 in 10 new features are legitimate improvements. As an engineer it would make your blood boil to hear the details. Generally speaking, turn off anything that 'improves' or processes the image. There's nothing the TV can do to the film that the filmmaker couldn't do themselves if they wanted to. Noise removal is one common exception, because some platforms cheap out and add a distracting amount of noise.
