This one chick I used to be friends with before I discovered what a huge sjw scumbag she was once called me toxic in such a casual matter of fact way. I think I said something about how Big Bang Theory fans think they're intelligent because they watch the show and this other girl got super offended and threw a fit. So we were talking about how crazy this girls overreaction was and she says "well you're really toxic and you say a lot of toxic things and some people just have thin skin." I was like what the fuck do you mean toxic? What is toxic and what about the things I say is toxic? of course there was no answer beyond I dunno it just is.

The one thing I disagree with Dick on with this gun stuff is the "you can make it" argument. Sure, you could. But that's time- and resource-consuming. If they ban them, some people will still find a way to get them or fabricate their own, but you do drastically limit the amount of people who will have access to them. I don't think the excuse against legislation being that it won't eliminate 100% of them is a compelling argument.

I was talking about bump stocks. If they were no longer legally available, a lot less people would have them. Yeah, somebody could make one. But that's an amount of effort that would prevent most people from bothering. Banning them would still drastically reduce access to them, even if people could easily work around it. If we're making the argument that bump stocks multiply the deadliness of semi-autos (though I think Vegas was the first time one has ever been used in a mass shooting, so talking about them so much probably just Streisand'd their popularity), then it's not stupid to suggest banning them, even if like five people will Anarchist-Cookbook their own.
