The tripod worked, but neither the theater wifi nor my LTE could handle the upstream, so the video looks like complete shit. Sorry everybody! I'm taking it down and posting the full edited video either Monday or Tuesday.

Fun night and a good show! Only complaint is I traveled from Michigan and drove back the same night with a DD and they shut the bar down like 20 minutes in. Luckily the first thing I did was order 4 beers before I sat down, but I'd like an explanation on that. I'm not the guy who gets out of control when I drink, but I was at least hoping to catch a buzz.

I would have been happy with just a pure audio stream where you could actually hear Dick and crew... I appreciate that they set up a livestream, but they had the phone so close to the audience that all you could hear was that one asshole screaming and laughing the whole night. And then, halfway through, the stream quit, and didn't come back until the show was over. Honestly, I think the wifi of the theater was bad, and they weren't aware of it until it was too late. But, to his credit, Madcucks did try to fix things.

It's not even just about the letter. Maddox hosts a Twitch stream of him and two other dudes playing Sonic with flawless quality. Meanwhile, Dick has a massive public event live streamed to hundreds with unwatchable quality. I'm surprised Dick let this happen.

I think that's the problem. I'm not one of them, but I think people are expecting that if a few hundred people pitch in $20 a month, appropriate preparations will be made to support a livestream. That's not very unreasonable or "moronic".

Seems like the livestream was a last minute thought so they just weren't prepared and they did what they could with what they had. I'm assuming the next one will be 100% better.

I will bitch and moan. If a theatre in Chicago does not have its stage wired for any kind of internet connection, even a measly 10Mbps would be more than enough, I'll literally film myself eating my own shit and upload it. Some equipment doesn't work? Run to a Best Buy or something and buy ANYTHING better. I'd happily wait an hour for actual watchable quality.

Fuck, man. All these comments... Apologies have been made already. Dude is getting sued for $400Mill. This was my first livestream. I upped to $20 for it and I was happily entertained. With how much of a "People make mistakes and it's nothing to get your tits tied up for" attitude Dick has on the show, some of you seem really forgetful of how much Dick has done for his fans. Maybe more options will be made readily available for next live shows. Forgive these comments, for they know not of what they speak. He was sued for our sins.
