Man I think this is the wrongest Sean has ever been on the Roseanne thing. A.) The woman she said it about was not black so why is it anymore racist than when Trump or Bush have been compared to apes. B.) Islam isn't a race, so not only is it possible to separate it from race it had nothing to do with race at all. Dick I totally agree about your views on not asking people about their jobs. I'm a cop and I hate people I've just met at parties etc asking me what I do, because then all they want to do is ask me what the most fucked up thing I've ever seen is, or bitch about some cop who gave them a ticket ten years ago. I don't give a fuck, I'm just here to enjoy myself, not to talk about work. Or once they know what I do, they assume I give a fuck about the slightly illegal things they've done, as if I'm going to arrest them for some stupid shit that in all honesty most on-duty cops wouldn't care about either. Acknowledging that Dick doesn't himself have the restraining order and it's probably no big deal, it's still a decent question. I believe there are some legalities and rules that come with no contact orders, where living together or being in a relationship could play into it. But probably not.

Matt, totally agree on all counts. I was very surprised to hear that from Sean. They both kind of talk with the affirmation that she was being racist, but she wasn't as "planet of the apes" doesn't equal black=monkeys. The picture comparison is hilarious and she totally resembles the character, who was played by a white person. Dick is very right that there is zero logic in her committing career suicide, just to immediately try everything in her power to fix it. FYI She is half black/Iranian but as white on the outside as Roseanne.
