The Least Creative

Problem: Working with people that ask for the solution before fully understanding the problem. For example, going to a mechanic and saying "I need a new alternator" - when you should really be saying "my car won't start"... The mechanic will already know all the various reasons a car might not start and your input might actually slow the process down. I'm not a mechanic or anything but I think this applies to most "solution provider" roles.
