Free speech was never meant to apply to porn. They had to change the law/court decision (can't remember which) to actually allow it under the first. It's obscenity law. Sure it's illegal now, along with chemically castrating 7 year olds, apparently (which research shows people are more tolerant of when they watch more porn). Porn is bad for society. It's bad for everyone, not just "addicts." Virtually all children use it now. You wouldn't say it's okay for grown men to flash little kids, but when 7 year olds can access millions of hours of depraved shit online, no one bats an eye cause they care more about their porn fix than protecting the innocence of young children. At the very least there should be restrictions that prevent people under 21 from viewing it.

Maybe parents should take an active fucking role in their children's lives. You wont stop kids from seeing porn no matter what you do, or how you ban or restrict it. We need to stop this absurd notion that we can protect our kids from ideas that "we deem morally questionable." We should be educating our kids about the ACTUAL dangers of sex and porn while they are going through puberty, but not as a scare tactic like was used on me in the 90s and 2000s. This whole mindset of banning things, whether it be vaping, drugs, porn it doesnt matter. Prohibition has never worked and will NEVER work, it goes contrary to our very nature. You're entitled to your opinion, but i'm pretty fucking tired of hearing the pearl clutching, think of the children speeches. It's been used to control and fuck the masses for generations. We must break the cycle.
