She's embarassed because she's worried that her friend could think (correctly) that she wants to see her naked, and is suggesting that the real reason is that they are alone and will not be seen by anyone else. I assume the use of the word "compound" is what's confusing you?

Ohhh yes I’m guessing “compound” is the issue, which is “an area surrounded by fences or walls that contains a group of buildings” - typically like you’d expect in a cult, for example
