Nice truck, seems like a 1940s-vintage Ford pickup, with short bed, and “bonus cab”. Farm machinery was kept in perfect shape, except for the paint. Always something more Important to do with the time than that.

The highlights show a heavily-oxidized red paint. A good polishing would result in a brilliant shine, and about four shades deeper color. Enamel paint in those days was durable. My grandparents had a 1939 Plymouth flat-bed truck that still runs, but was never polished. Maybe a good premium might be a pin-up of the hoofers (minus Amok) and Milo in Speedos with buckets of soapy water and polish for a surprise present.
