Upcoming changes to No Shells Tier (Patreon)

Hi hi everyone, I hope you are enjoying the No Shells so far! First of all let me assure you that the No Shells pictures will still be made, so you don't have to worry about that. The changes on the tier will be kinda an addition so allow me to explain:

The comic Marine Defenders is now 8 years old, and that's a very long time! However you all probably know by now that its updates are way too slow, and when I tried to speed them more, it got stuck. Not to mention my decision for the retcon and also my attempt to make it to the Webtoon... Every decision I've made to improve the comic has backfired and at this point, it kinda feels like I got the story hostage in a trunk while I turn like a cartoon villain and say "It's for your own good", I could've handled my project better.

That being said I still plan on working on the comic, but I don't want to keep the story locked away until I can finally get my act together and produce like I wanted to produce. There are parts that I want to show, scenes that I want you to see, questions I want to answer, and since I am still stuck working on the Eva chapter for I don't remember how many months now, I've come up with an idea just for my patrons:

Snippet Stories (Title Pending)

Taking the idea of the Developing Images that the Game Companies publish while working on their games, I too shall create drawings showcasing things that are yet to see in the comic, like certain events, certain characters, flashbacks, Diamanto's Instagram, you name it!

Now, some important things about the Snippet Stories:

They will contain drawings with spoilers ranging from tiny to almost very important details, so watch them at your own risk.

Will have events and situations that are subject to change.

Includes planned Retcon changes (AKA the stuff I had to cut out from the 1st version)

And characters that were cut out, or that they're not going to make it to the final version anymore.

I have some things I would like to share through these snippets, however if there is something specific you always wanted to know, now is your chance! I'll be on the lookout for any comments made on my social media, here at Patreon, and Discord about the stuff you wanted to know about the story and that could be answered via Snippet.

How will this change the No Shells Tier?

For starters, rather than making a new tier, I'll integrate the Snippet Stories into the tier, so the name has to be changed. The Snippet Stories will also gonna be monthly, so each month there will be either a No Shells drawing, a Snippet Story, or both if time allows it.

I plan on implementing this changes by the beggining of May. Although I cannot return to the old model where I had artists help me out with the sketching part, I am looking into bringing someone to help me speed up the production process at least to get the comic moving constantly again, so I will keep you updated on that part.
