So here’s my question: is magic generally known here? Or is it just something that Jerome and hir roommates know about? Somehow if Emily is aware that the person she’s bringing home being magically transformed is a possibility, I feel like it’s ok that Jerome doesn’t say anything beforehand.

Um I don't really have an answer for that I guess I'd say it's not common knowledge that witches exist in this world. I cant imagine Ash and Amber let everyone in on there witchy ways.
