It’s awfully cold and lonely on this floor. All this chasing has left me terribly tired, and I fear my body has grown weary of keeping up. Sometimes, it feels nice to just lie here in the silence, to feel the cold against my skin and let my body slowly release all that it’s been holding onto. I suppose the chase can wait for now. Though, I do hope nobody takes advantage of me while I’m lying here so helpless. That would be terribly unfortunate, wouldn’t it?
