Hi everyone,

I think we’re all chasing the same thing here — that perfect picture. The one that has it all: the right characters, the right position, the right situation, and those perfect facial expressions.

The easy part is the position: over the knee, of course. That goes without saying. But even that immediately raises questions — you need someone who looks like they could actually keep another person securely across their lap. Since we’re always working with adults in these fantasy situations, superheroes make a great choice. After all, who better to teach a mere human a good lesson if it’s needed?

Then there’s clothing. The one over the knee should obviously have the target area exposed, but what else? Personally, I like the idea of shorts, though I’m also a big fan of the classic “skirt flip.” And then there’s the all-important underwear — for me, nothing too skimpy works best.

What about the pose itself? Should their hand be pinned behind their back? Or is it better to have the legs kicking and the arms flailing?

And the face — should there be tears? Or that brave expression that says they’re just managing to take the sting?

Argh, it’s too hard! The “perfect picture” is always just out of reach. I’ll keep doing what I do, and hopefully some of the latest comic pages will come close!
