So I was watching the news and got amazed by a certain high-profile robbery over the weekend. It instantly reminded me of an animation I did years ago about a beautiful cat burglar who got caught by a big, hungry plant—very Audrey 2 vibes. Naturally, in true Little Shop of Horrors fashion, the three singers delivered a stinging session over their knees! 😏

It got me thinking about how movies often feature characters who could use a good over-the-knee comeuppance. It’s less common in more modern films for that actual punishment , but filmmakers have still found ways of that behind getting heated.

For example:

In a Bond movie (Brosnan era), he fights a female assassin and sits her down on the hot coals of a steam room—ouch! 🔥

In one of the Home Alone movies (#5?), a female thief gets stuck in a window… then gets ping-ponged right on the bum. If you close your eyes, the sounds and reactions almost make it feel like a spanking! 🍑

And of course, Flash Gordon—“not the boreworms”—goes without saying 😉.

Bonus: in Innerspace, the baddies get shrunk to half-size—a perfect setup for teaching a lesson the old-fashioned way!

So, I ask you: which movie character do you think needed a little attention to their backside? There’s loads, don’t get me started on the super heroines!
