Back… and Picking Up Right Where We Left Off 😈 (Patreon)

Yes… I know. It’s been a few weeks.

Turns out trying to juggle two larger animations at once was a little more “ambitious” than planned — so I stepped back, reset, and focused on getting something right rather than rushing something out.

And honestly? I think it was worth it.

Because I’m back — and yes… I have been busy.

So where have I been?

Well, after about ten years of doing this, I figured I’d earned a bit of a break. No burnout — just the reality that trying to juggle two larger animations at once was getting a little… ambitious.

The “wheel” one had six characters, the other had five. That’s a lot going on for what ends up being quite focused content. At some point you have to ask whether you’re animating… or just wrestling with your own timeline.

So as you know, myself and the actress took a bit of a holiday — and since getting back I’ve spent some time looking over a few of my favourite things I’ve created here over the past ten years… and it reminded me that sometimes, simpler really is better.

Now, while all that was going on, I found myself getting a little distracted.

I can’t quite explain it (and yes, I know she’s not real), but there’s just something about her — the look, the attitude… she knows she’s in charge right up until the moment she isn’t.

And that’s always interesting.

So she’s been my focus this past week.

This one’s a bit more direct — a classic over-the-knee setup — but I’ve been playing with a new sequence I haven’t really explored before.

There’s a moment where she reaches back after the first whack…and receives a couple of quick ones on her “sit spots” which results in her stopping any of that reaching nonsense as she doesn’t want anymore of that!

So the sit spots…., whose a fan? I mean it certainly ups the whacking a level but isn’t all the fun about aiming for that more obvious, round peachy target? 🍑🎯 surely that’s where all the attention should be eh? 😜

I don’t think I’ve ever included it in my animations before, or even my comics for that matter. However I might do it more on this animation. I guess it’s something that has to happen toward the end, which ups the anti and ensures a good bit of dancing is gonna be done by the captain. And animating a new dance is always fun, and there is quite a bit of footage around these days that I can use as a reference.

Anyway, this one is coming together nicely now, and I think you’re going to enjoy how it plays out.

She certainly didn’t expect a captains life to go quite this way.

I’ll be uploading it soon, in the meantime have a couple more cartoon pics and in the interest of balance I have added a big mouthed man being dealt with by very strong lady…I wonder what he said….🤔
