I for one enjoy the conspiracy theory chats because, as Jordan pointed out they’re always different. I like hearing about them but would rather not have to go to the various unhinged sources to learn about them myself.

breausephina

I don't know what to think when the Patreon ep is longer than the main feed ep

morgan sage

I love that the regular episode was pre haircut and the patreon episode is post hair cut - the hair looks great Jarvis!!! 😍👏

Patrick Hall

Jarvis's explaining the southern pronunciation of hamster was surprisingly validating

Alex mendieta

need an update after the eclipse on what the conspiracy theorists posts are like..... do they delete their posts or walk it back

curlysammm

Jacob failing the captcha a couple times in a row does nothing go disprove the conspiracy theory that he is a sentient bank of computers with a TV monitor for a head.

macdo226

Yes downloading things onto your computer will make it heavier. But it’s heavier by an amount that really only can be measured by extremely accurate laboratories. Not something anyone could do at home

The Dreamer

It is the will of Steins;Gate that Jordan watches the anime so that he can also marvel in its glorious form. Once you've recovered from brilliance overload after watching all of Steins;Gate (watch Steins;Gate 0 too), please share your thoughts on the anime. That is all. El Psy Kongroo

HxZero

I watch Community like all the time

josh hake

the conspiracies are SO fun. i love y’all talking about them! always have the funniest things to sau

Sigma

in relation to the brief steins;gate aside, the john titor forum posts were an actual thing

Frank

I never get tired of the conspiracies. You guys always make them so funny to listen to.

sadboyz

i can't believe i didn't mention this

Arran P

DJ Stone of Legal Eagle reviewed the bees "stealing" honey, there's no way to sue someone for that lol

Haven

the game hatoful boyfriend is literally what jarvis and jordan were describing about ducks taking over and being racist to humans (but with pigeons) and everyone should play it

Linguistic tangent: Human brains are amazing at figuring out how to use the least amount of energy required to do things, and as we grow up with a language we quickly learn which parts of language we need to be able to tell apart from finer details and which we don't need to spend that much energy on (for example, some languages have fewer vowel sounds than others, so the brain doesn't use that much energy thinking about tiny acoustic differences in vowel sounds, which can make it harder to distinguish between vowels when learning a language that has a lot more vowel sounds and thus less acoustic difference between them). This is all to say that japanese only has one liquid phoneme where english has two and the realisation of that phoneme also happens to be sort of a middleground between those two which doesn't make the distinction easier, but also that's just the brain being efficient. If you only have to deal with one liquid phoneme in your day to day life, your brain isn't going to spend needless energy on minute differences it's not going to use, but also like Jordan said, it's a profiency thing, basically teaching your brain: Hey you need to pay closer attention to these sounds now.

I am convinced that this is the premier of the Superman curl and you will not change my mind. Keep it and be Super Jarvy!

eliillustrates

I feel the need to let you guys know that you influenced me to start playing BG3 (even though I'm not really into video games lol) and I have unfortunately become an Astarion defender - my apologies

Jordan's joke about how tenuously North and South America are connected is kind of true. The US basically did disconnect them in the early 20th century. Technically, they're still connected by land because the southern section of Panama touches South America, but there's a pretty big canal separating the 2 pieces of Panama. Which is also the origin of a famous palindrome. Coincidence? Yes.

Tyla Stark

I for one would absolutely watch a Sad Boyz Nights of yall just watching funny clips of shows you like

tess

APE ESCAPE MENTION!

Aled

they didn’t day nighty night

Mira Moisio

didn't expect to learn the context for the amusing cell phone advertisement I saw in Japan nine years ago (picture of a white guy yelling "Why?! Japanese People?!") through Sad Boyz but alright!

Mira Moisio

Wilson created the name to have many Ls to counterbalance all the ones he has caught in real life my god

Sarah

when i showed this to my friend he said “What is Blur??? did Damon Albarn do this to him”

Julia Collins

Laughed when you guys started making up slurs at the end because there is a blue Star Trek character who always calls humans "pinkskins" in a way that absolutely sounds like a slur

Vynnie

Left this episode with 10 min left. Came back days later only to be hit with the racist origins of lululemon

Mo Wizdumb

I swear the conspiracy theorists give us spiritual girlies such a bad name 😭

Bluebird Lane Art

Wasn't looking at the screen and thought Jordan was translating Japanese to English on the spot

Ada

I'm pretty sure the thing about "how would ducks rewrite history" was meant to be a reference to the DuckTales theme song

Natalie Wirdzek

i love the conspiracy videos because theyre so absurd

Sasha Kasha

The resemblance to rdj is wild. I can never unsee it n def ain't mad about it

Equine Musings

Hardly related to the video, but because of you, Jarvis, I have gone and binged all of Community. Now that it's a comfort/background noise show for me, it's no longer on Netflix, and that is just unfair and always how it goes for me when I finally hop on a pop culture train. Lol. eta - I recently learned the the founder of Lulu Lemon was just a racist white guy who thought it'd be a funny joke to make a name of a company that was hard to pronounce for Asian people (I was not aware that he was targeting specifically Japanese people). I was absolutely disgusted. I've had problems with LuluLemon for a while now (as a white Yoga instructor trying to be mindful of the ways Yoga is misappropriated, and LuluLemon basically just uses Yoga to market it's products), so when I heard about this I was like "ok, well at least now I know for sure that they suck"

Leisa L

I don’t see RDJ, but I think Jarvis looks so much like Julio Macias, especially from the side.

Void WL

I learned something new from googling the eclipse thing! the interval of 1211 days is because... 1211 days is almost exactly 41 lunar months, which is what the cycle actually is-- every 41 new moons there's one where the moon's orbit and the sun are just right to produce an eclipse

Void WL

I took a bigger edible than I'm used to and put on sad boyz and now I'm floating through time ad space and googling astronomy and being like wowowoow space

Beth Straubel

"chip wilson?? thats the whitest name ive ever heard"

Dean

I love how dedicated Jordan has been in calling himself the (blank) bastard for months now, that’s his thing and I appreciate that

Ash Schroeder

a watch party of community w their commentary is everything i could ever ask for

cali_storm

45:12 Reminds me of those click bait tik tok trends haha "Do you know what's between breakfast and lunch?"...the answer may SHOCK you 🤯

Chloe💋

I love cell damage I have it on my ps4 also the stuff about like the eclipse sounds like something my stepdad would say cause his fav thing to do when he’s drunk is try to convince people of the most unbelievable stuff he starts out believable and gets more and more outlandish but he’s a REALLY good actor so people believe for a while

evelyn 👾

i need to rewatch community now

Skiddly Winks

I love checking in with the current conspiracies from time to time. It's like you're venturing into a mystical land where everything is somehow connected and nothing actually makes sense

Skiddly Winks

And it always comes back to numerology somehow

Skiddly Winks

Every time this happens I think of this documentary I watched ywars ago on 2012 doomers. Idr what the name of it was, but at the end there was this shot of an old man leaving his house and realizing that literally nothing happened. Honestly it could've been an SNL skit

Lee U

What's funny about ppl who think we live in a simulation is they're saying it's all too mathematical to be real. And like... Do they think humans invented math? Math is inherent to the universe lmao weren't just observing it

Lee U

It's me i'm there stealing your snacks

Lee U

It's almost like the math is the language we're observing about the event, not what created the event lol. It's like saying that the word Moon is the reason there's a big floating white thing in our night sky lol

kalarra

hell yeah, sonic adventure 2 battle on gamecube was my first video game

jazzcabbage
