Hiiii so .... I grew up on a dairy farm, and colostrum is the milk that is produced around the baby's birth which is meant to kickstart the baby's immune system, gut and, general health etc etc. It is high in essential vitamins, minerals, fats and, acids but also has high hormone levels. Not sure about the rest of the world but in Australia there are restrictions on when milking can commence (for commercial products) and dairy regularly have to get their milk tested for these sorts of hormones (along with a lot of other tests). Although that's gross enough, there's also the factor that to get the product they are taking this kick start in life away from the baby its intended for, its also not along period that animals have this milk for, about 7 days but it gets less intensive after the first few days. We had pretty ethical practices on our farm and it was pretty small (goat and sheep dairy for context) and we always would prioritise the kids or lambs getting this, and it was VERY negative if they didn't. I know there are vegan or artificial ones but if its from cows, its most likely not done under ethical practices.... PS I love your content - much love

Jordan I gotta defend myself as an iced coffee sleeve user. I drop things a lot and I have sweaty hands 😂

Tyla Stark

Would love to see the boys on Um Actually.

Tyla Stark

Oh yikes that makes the whole thing even more ethically gross 😩 but thanks for teaching us a thing!

Alek.Sparks

they are going to be on um actually! they were in the trailer for this season

Ratprints

thanks for sharing, this is both interesting and sad. (also hello fellow australian sad boyz fan)

Logan

I was thinking the same thing about how important that milk is for baby cows.

Grant Crawford

Another pair of all timer episodes. I can hardly remember when I got into Sadboyz proper but the humorous way you both discuss your own experiences about mental health have helped me immensely.

finally signed up for the patreon after y’all teased EKT in the main episode LMAO worth $5 of course

Q

Related to the EKT story, one of my friends heard a song in the porn Gayracula that he wanted to listen to bc it was a banger. He searched for years and he finally found it bc he had the genius idea to upload a clip of it to youtube for it to copyright strike recognize it and it worked! The song is “Covetousness” by Rinder and Lewis if anyone is curious

Drawn at Random

unfortunately it is immortal. due to the nutrients.

Idk, I feel like the lady interviewing Mr. Goldblum was more rizztastic than he was. She got him to talk to her, and kept flattering him, and then he complimented her after a while. Lol. So ... idk, unimpressed.

Colostrum is legit but I can't stand how there are accounts like that one that advertise products. It's shady, bordering on illegal. I buy my colostrum through a normal vitamin website in pill form. I would get sick three or four times during the winter since having covid, I started colostrum and squeeked through the winter with a single cold, and it wasn't as severe as my usual illnesses. It has health benefits but improving how you look is like, the least effective part of it. But people who are desperate to get "glass skin" or whatever other unachievable look are kind of gullible, hence the fact they believe they could ever get glass skin, so they are easily marketed to.

Carolyn 🌱

Look at any legitimate colostrum product, they make a point to say they do not take milk from baby animals.

Snail mucin has been used in legit skin care for many years, it's moved over from the Korean skin care market only recently. There's some pretty interesting research on the benefits of it.

Heather

My grandma is an anti-vaxxer who would LOVE miracle moo. When I got sick she said it was probably the covid vaccine. I HAD LYME DISEASE

Skiddly Winks

Goldblum is so enchanting it's stupid

Skiddly Winks

They're lying then. Nevermind the fact that they're obviously lying throughout their entire tik tok page

gin

isn't ellen degeneres like... famously vegan??

Lee U

The Jeff Goldblum character in the Jurassic Park book is so spot on it's crazy. Like the author precoged Jeff

Jori

I've used Korean skin care with snail mucin and my skin really liked it !

tiny door atelier

snail mucin is actually a good ingredient, surprisingly. it's used widely in Korean skincare. I love it.

Rasmus Tindborg

Jarvis you should check out Wirtual if you don't know him already. He does Trackmania content and has a lot of "history of the record" type videos! They're really cool, even if you know nothing about the game

kingpinguino

I used snail moisturizer for a while and I actually loved it haha, it just took me a while to forget that it was snail juice

I've noticed people switch out holistic and homeopathic when talking about alternatives for to Western medicine. For example, I have high blood pressure, my symptom-based approach is taking blood pressure medication and my holistic approach is changing my diet and exercise. The two aren't mutually exclusive, whereas a homeopathic option would probably be like taking ashwagandha even though it hasn't been proven that it has the concentrated levels enough to greatly affect blood pressure day-to-day or eating passion fruit. Both can help with regulating things but I'd have to consume a lot of it.
