Gwen

Incredible stacked guest list today boyz, thank you

cheeriotomato

I know nothing about Magic but I do love listening to people talk about stuff they love! The discussion in the free show was awesome too, it would be great to have these guys return as guests.

Nunya Biznes

love jarvis just breezing over esper sentinel like its not $30

Jamie Cahill

Breezing past revised boosters is a mad flex.

Simon

I finally paid $5 after years of watching the regular show, it was an investment well made

Donni J

listen i am 5 years clean from magic you cannot drag me back in to this

eliillustrates

i commented this on the main ep because you guys mentioned illustrators of magic cards, but one of my illustration professors has actually illustrated some so it's cool hearing you guys talk about the art side of it :)

Simon K.

Would love to know y'alls favorite commanders/cards/sets/etc!

eliillustrates

also can't wait to see jarvis on olay's channel omg

AkiSutaHatter

ive only ever played commander w prebuilt decks bc i like the playing but not doing the meta, but listening to ppl talk abt high level strategies is so much fun

Richard

Clicked onto sad boyz nightz thinking 'i hope its more magic' - was not disappointed

GarbageSalt

somehow managed to accidentally open the dropout app instead of patreon like three times trying to watch this, they're like not even next to each other on my phone they're just in the same group

Connor

fellas, thank you so much for talking about friendship and accountability in the main ep. going through some tough interpersonal stuff and having a lot of friendships fall apart and show up in different ways, and hearing 4 emotionally intelligent people talk about their appreciation and approach to being held accountable, and holding their communities accountable as well was incredibly refreshing, thank you. <3

Snow

i own so much magic cards from when i was younger and i still occassionally collect but I have zero idea how to get into it so im excited to hear about others experiences like this!

mahbluebird

Another really funny thing that came from the cards being inadvertently played together, they wanted to change the back of the cards to be more "thematically appropriate" or something. There's concept art online of the back of Arabian Nights cards, and it looks a lot better than the current back imo. It was bright pink/purple instead of brown, and had "Arabian Nights" written on the back. Anyway, because people would play different cards from different sets together, they couldn't print the different card backs, because back then nobody would play with sleeves, and knowing you had an Arabian Nights card on the top of your deck, for example, you'd be able to cheat in many ways.

Rhiannon

Maybe you mention it later, I don't know, but the other part of the name "Elder Dragon Highlander" is because it's a singleton format - that is, "There can be only one!" of each card :D I love that piece of trivia!

Joob

Please do a DnD campaign on Dropouts Dimensions 20

Joob

I love these worlds colliding. Love dropout and love sad boyz. My two sources of joy.

Renegade

i had a ton of fun listening to yalls inside baseball, despite having 0 interest in mtg 😂🩷 tysm ify for giving us a glimpse with that translation!!!! fantastic ep as always boyz, especially love ify and brian as guests 🥹

Drawn at Random

it's jarvis and jordan's fault that when jordan said there were too many moves to name just one, my first thought was the angry dragon/hamburger/steam engine guy on tiktok -_-

Danny Dearest

im so into dropout content rn so i screamed when i saw ify was a guest... and the GOAT BDG!!!!!! worlds colliding literally... also was just talking about getting back into magic today. dang yall triple combo here. banger episode lads

Milo Keeble

Well now I just want to know what commanders everyone uses.

Kadeem Motley

Lol Jarvis breathing heavily while gushing over Magic. I know that feeling man. Well not about Magic but get me talking about Kingdom Hearts or Metal Gear Solid and that is exactly how I sound 😂

Gianna

gianna michaels is one of the few famous giannas, i don't hear my name used often and this sure was a surprising one

The_Debonair_Dragon

my first internet name was Frocck. I sued it till i was Twenty It was a random generated name from Ever Quest in the 90s

Rattea

Loved the day episode of this so much I finally subscribed. Trying to find where to access the discord?

Amalie Lind Ravn

Both the main ep and this were fantastic! Loved it! When I was little I used to sort my brother's magic cards all of the time, and had clear favourites and least favourites but no clue of how to play it. Didn't learn to play the game until I was a teenager, where it would be pretty 50/50 on who won between the two of us, except for when he played a specific white deck that synergised super well. He always won when he played that, until I build a wolf themed deck (the first time I bought singles to build a deck instead of putting one together from the cards we already had), got to absolutely flood the board with wolf tokens, and beat him with my wolf army. That was a great time XD

Burger

Jarvis completely stonefacing pulling a retro esper sentinel sent me

i don't know anything about magic at all but the sheer passion and excitement u all talked abt it with hit me so right in the adhd nook of my brain i got the same kind of dopamine hit i would if i was also hyperfixating on it rn, love the energy these kinds of pods where you guys talk about your (and friends) interests always have, they provide a very contagious joy! :)

Ethan Provençal

I love the one part where everyone stops talking and is hyper focused on their cards

Catarina Erba

I played and collected yugioh tgc as a kid, even going to some tournaments for some new pack releases. Never got into MTG, but this exact level of nerdom is why I was always intimidated to do so, even though I like tgcs 😅

Jori

I collected Mary Kate & Ashley books.

Tim Kepple

this magic talk reminds me of how Atlus was originally advertising the first persona game in the US as "Revelations Series: Persona, the first game in the Revelations series" and then immediately dropped the revelations name and never mentioned it again
