my first uncrushable was a treat my besty as a child her mom bought them for her and she traded me hers every day for my school lunch Fruit cause we where poor as hell and i got a state paid lunch card. she lsot a fight to cancer and now i eat them any time i miss her. I remember the Lunchable commercials, I wanted to bring one to school so bad in first grade (1997) and when I finally did, it was very anti-climatic 🥲 but the 90s and early 2000s had some weird ads for sure (gushers, capri-sun, sunny-d, the taco bell dog)

Did they have something called Kids Cuisine in the US or was it just a Canadian thing? They had a penguin mascot. It was a fancier version of lunchables, at least that’s what it looked like lol I would see these commercials in the early 2000s

I used to work at a gas station in the midwest and we had chesterfields below the counter! People bought them, Chesterfield just didn't pay for a display slot eta: also my school had uncrustables as one of the free breakfast options (except for a period in the middle where they were freaking out about peanuts). They were bigger than the ones I see at the store though.

Undressed was so random. It came on only in the summer and it was like a nighttime soap opera. And for years after it when off the air like no one knew what I was talking about. I honestly at one point thought I made it up. Lol until YouTube and people started posting old episodes. I definitely love that show. It was one of the very first shows with actual alternative to heterosexual relationships that felt real and not just two people holding hands. I don't know if any of this makes sense. But that show was super important to me and a lot of people I think.
