Cooper

Loved MTG before getting into the podcast and this has become a dream come true

skkat

im so hyped for this magic moment

Brooke

Great episode, appreciate that it was free :) would like to hear their thoughts on the bg3 secret lair cards that just shipped out too!

Ryan Richter

Really cool idea for a magic series. A combination of pack openings and vintage deck building sounds really fun.

Created a Patreon account just to comment because here there is a greater chance of Jordan or Jarvis actually seeing a comment I've made. The thought of that genuinely made me so overwhelmed with happiness I flapped like I was trying to fly away (and also actually cried but that's less fun). YouTube has been my hyper fixation for a long time and this podcast (and Jarvis content in general) has been a huge era for me these past couple years. MTG has also been one of my hyper fixations since I was like 10 so when the two come together it always blows my mind and makes me so so damn happy. I love this podcast so much. I seriously just spent like 2 hours writing a comment over on YouTube based on about 5 sentences they said towards the end of the episode lol. Annnyway, I should probably stop now because otherwise I will keep typing to the end of time but I just had to comment something because this podcast and these 2 dorks mean so much to me

the only knowledge of mtg i have comes from being a summer camp counselor and having a group of kids spend half their summer trying to teach me how to play a couple years back n this brought back some fun memories :') maybe i should try getting into it for real

Cerys

i know less than anything abt magic so i am glad this is separate however i do just love listening to you guys yap about anything so i will be tuning in

Joey Underwood

i don’t play magic but i still like listening to this. i do like doctor who tho so if you play those ones i’d be even more interested lol

Jess Babbitt

I don’t know anything about Magic but I’ll listen to anything the Boyz have to say about it. It’s fascinating.

Johanna

Not sure if I‘m just unable to find it but will this be available as audio only as well? Otherwise I can‘t download it and that‘s sad (Also all I know about mtg is what I‘ve heard on sad boyz but I will happily listen to more)

GladGamerLad

You guys got me into magic and I cant thank yall enough

Rachel Eakes

I don't know anything about MTG (besides the fact that Michael Clifford from 5 Seconds of Summer plays it) but I love learning new things & hearing people talk about things they love!!

Baker Poling

the mtg content has given me life and i selfishly hope it stays free

Briar

so, while undead sprinter does look quite good and i imagine it'll be great in standard and rakdos aggro in pioneer - it is worth noting that since it doesn't have flash you can't play it on an opponents turn (unless you have leyline of anticipation or some other flash provider on field already)

scarflett

everyones also saying it but i dont know anything abt magic but i love listening to yall talk about it

an unlikely being

my mtg hyperfocus got re-started with the bloomburrow set so I'm excited to have this with you guys. i really like how you'll point out a cool card and then give examples of how it could be used in decks.... sometimes i state at cards blankly like "wtf is this for" so hearing you guys explain it like that is expanding my ability to look at them that way.

Adam Battalagine

u guys got me back into magic and to try commander. just bought my first deck last week super excited to play

Ethan Jones

I got back into magic since you guys started talking about it I now I have 9 commander decks

Rhys

i've been getting into magic with my friends and it's really cool to enjoy alongside you, if that makes sense. thanks for the video

Painter

I used to play fnm weekly in my early 20s, now im in my 30s with 2 kids and divorced. So instead of doing the subscription service that is standard. I've been playing kitchen table commander with friends that im reconnecting with through magic. Needless to say jarvis mentioning it in this weeks ep got me here before finishing the ep 😆

LittleMourningStarr

As a magic fan that is relearning to play and trying to get my wife into it- please never stop talking about it 🖤 (And never stop special interest info dumping in general!)

Tara

I loved this. It was a good time. Just listening to y’all talking about mtg. I’ve been into magic for like 10 years now but have recently been into it more with the friends I have. It’s a good time!

heylillizard

Subscribed because I wanted more magic talk 😂 love the good vibes for the MTG community 🙌🏻

Sandra Nuni

This is so nice, thank you ❤️

Jake

Hey dudes! I'm the guy that sent over the pauper commander decks! Tysm for the extra content here for free, I love magic and I love hyperfocus talk. yall rock

Bambi

i really enjoyed this as an intro lesson in 'magic:the gathering', lots of fun tarot archetypes referenced in the deck XD

Thats-amigos

I thought it would be fun to build around Roxanne, Starfall Savant as a commander, as she essentially pays for her own commander tax, but the problem was I wasn't finding any good red or green flickers. So Norin, Swift Survivalist is great for that deck! Especially as I'll want to be haphazardly swinging Roxanne at my opponents with no regard for her safety.

Jay

Thank you for making these videos you guys got me to finally want to learn to play magic

kiara

finally getting into magic so I'm watching all of the magic moments now :)
