Sarah Amelia

when y’all went over the categories, i was like uh oh, i’m a certified yapper i fear but then afterwards i was like…oh, nvm i’m not lmao

midwest elf

Cowboyz are my favorite variation of Sad Boyz thus far

eliillustrates

This is unrelated to the ep but it would be incredible if you guys could have Dan and Phil on the show when they’re in LA for tour. Idk if that’s out of the realm of possibility but I feel like they’d be amazing guests :)))

Sam Grace

I laughed way too hard at Jordan's "I feel like Clifford is a better setup" on that last one! Thanks for the primo Friday content boyz <3

lowtech42

Jarvis was in his Birkin BAG with that Em impression 😭😭😭 (Em-pression??) Had me CRYING

An August Virgo

I have dating app horror stories 🥲but it's been years since I've been on them 😭

bedrose

couldve sworn certified yapper rapper was about to start talking abt not throwin' away his shot

Alison

i hope you guys take more submissions again because I have a few from my friend that I think you'll enjoy

Gary Sifuentes

Love the little games you all make. It's worth the time and effort.

hatto catto

You should feature spilltab in an episode, that would be awesome

Persi

Yes! I’d love to see that

Justin Starr

🗣️🗣️I SPY SPOOKY MANSION PC GAME MENTIONED🚨🚨🚨

rivercxrpse

can someone tell me if they addressed the whole going too easy on the guy last week? i don’t want to watch through if they’re still pushing that belief

Shelby Fawn

big fan of The Intern™ being on as a mysterious voice and game master

Julia Oster

love seeing jarvis literally wind up to go into freestyle mode

Spiraled Serpentine

I used to play I spy spooky mansion on the WII and I'll never be more dedicated to and enthralled by a game.

Rachel Eakes

they said Eminem but i was thinking Lin Manuel Miranda lmao

Rachel Eakes

Big fan of the Intern's work and I can't wait for more games from them!!

Frances P

Omg I submitted the uwu cringe Hinge profile, I'm so glad you guys enjoyed it as much as I did

listerine

i think about i spy spooky mansion all the time ive been reorganising my old games and its so FUN i remember her cute raspy voice and the way she said "MOULD" god shes so dreamy

listerine

i also had fantasy and treasure hunt, they are wonderful, but spooky mansion was an ornately spun narrative like it took your hand and together you faced the spooky mansion and the story unfolded itself. pc games only i cant vouch the wii version

Bimmy

“This person is medically cringe.” is such a good roast omfg. I agree, a little cringe is cute, and being cringe is not a crime, but there are times and places where it has no place, and one of those places is dating apps and DM’s 💀

rivercxrpse

y’all not responding to me and others being put off by the overcompensation in the last Nightz is wild man :[

Kadeem Motley

That freestyle was missing something in the beginning. “It’s the calm before the storm right here”

Dylan Bartley

While I completely agree that they could have been more aggressive and overt with their criticism, remember that they aren't obligated to make a statement. They never condoned harm, they spoke out against it. Whether that speaking out was up to a specific, personal standard is an individual gripe, not a public offense. Also remember that they might not have seen people's objections at all- I doubt their silence on the matter is intentional, much less meant to harm you or anybody else.

rivercxrpse

right they only make statements every time they’ve been called out but god forbid a trans person wants them to do the same for ignoring the high inadvertent (and clearly intentionally) encouragement for transphobia. nice rebuttal tho dude, real cool of u

rivercxrpse

plus they’ve been known to read comments, and i assumed of would be easier to read through patreon ones. you’re assuming a lot that isn’t fair abt me and i’m assuming a lot that includes their previous actions. i understand where you’re coming from but ur not considering the harm this does. next thing you know i’ll get someone saying it’s not that deep in the SAD BOYZ FANDOM.

midwest elf

as a nb person I understand it doesn’t feel great. I don’t think it’s fair that you’re implying they don’t care. Additionally, fandom is a bit much. Idk I’ve never felt like they were the type of people to want that mentality from their following. We’re all normal regular people, they shouldn’t be placed on any type of pedestal.

rivercxrpse

ok first of all it’s a bit contradictory to not ask what i mean. they do not care about backlash against the way they word things, at least it VERY much seems that way when they’ve done it for most issues EXCEPT excusing transphobia. the fandom part wasn’t a- that wasn’t a point i was making and it was only an example of this fandom (literally no other word) possibly being fine with excusing more and more as they speak less on their phrasing and influence. i’m very validly mad at this because i’ve watched them for so long and thought they were the type of people to understand how they’re phrasing or over correction is harmful. stop w the pedestal talk too, nobody did that, im just saying it hurts regardless. the fact that you’re ignoring that is messed up, im not saying it’s important bc it hurt me as a person, im saying it’s important because it hurt me as a TRANS person. i KNOW what this encourages and have experienced it firsthand whether that be when i was problematic and in those groups or trans and dealing with them. like wtf y’all😒

Coralee Snow

Honestly, Jordan looks great in that cowboy hat.

Lars Milberger

The cringe on the hinge profiles was too intense because I’ve seen toooo many people just like that 😭😭 I assure you they’re not fake.. you just haven’t been on gay/queer hinge

Tyla Stark

I think there's going to reasonably be a difference between how they talk about things on patreon vs youtube. On YouTube they're pretty direct about breaking down why shit is fucked up, but on patreon I think the vibes are more like, we're all adults here, we don't need to go into that. The vibes are more relaxed and about having fun. (That being said i wish the video didn't end up being all about that shitty guy, but I deeply understand getting sucked down rabbit holes.) It can just be called bad and mean and we all know why it's bad and mean. Hopefully. Like if one is such a regular viewer that they're here, they probably get it. I don't think it needs to be broken down and hand fed to us.

rivercxrpse

idc if no one agrees that’s kinda the issue here. you just did exactly what i said you guys would do when i said the fandom would go “it’s not that deep.” “we’re all adults here” is so gross and contradicting, you guys half ass supporting trans people STILL. why is it SO hard to just acknowledge when you make a mistake speaking on a trans issue especially when your cis and how do you confidently defend a cis person doing it if your trans? they obviously never did it on purpose, and they’re not required to do so, but it’s weird asf that they didn’t and i have the right to call it out. it’s honestly disgusting that you’re using the fact that its on Patreon and has a higher maturity level to excuse the phrasing of “it’s not dangerous” (jordan’s words not mine) when referring to transphobic jokes. when did the community become so gross?

Rai

Great episode!! Love the return of the rap battle! Please give us more you cowards (affectionate)

bedrose

I just rewatched the episode, and that is absolutely not the context in which Jordan said "it's not dangerous." He made very clear that he was saying that Baylen's content "is not dangerous" in the sense that it is not deliberately advocating for policy that endangers trans people, BUT it is still harmful because, however absent-minded it is, it still "forwards problematic positions on, entertains, and trivializes" serious issues like racism and transphobia. Both he and Jarvis called out the joke for being transphobic, just as they’ve called out transphobia many other times in the past. Could they have spent less time giving Baylen the benefit of the doubt? Absolutely. But it is not “gross” and “disgusting” to criticize someone’s rhetoric while still extending them basic empathy.

FaylynSeryph

When iSpy Spooky Mansion was mentioned, I just side-eyed the physical book next to my desk! Easily one of my favorites (along with Treasure Hunt) and I have so many fond memories playing the PC game rented from my local library! They're such a jam!

Baylee

20:50 I’m honored to have my “I was going to send you a dubious picture” submission mentioned 🫡

Tyla Stark

I'm not saying it's not that deep. It is, but do we need the full explanation of why this stuff is harmful every single time it happens? Like, we already know. But hey maybe because I'm trans and don't need to be educated on why it's a danger, I assume others know more than they do. Edit: There was loads of weird and dangerous behavior that guy was doing, it's not just the trans stuff they breezed over. It just wasn't intended to be that kind of video, and I think that's okay. And genuinely, feel free to educate me, but I don't see the problem with assuming people on the patreon might be a bit more knowledgeable about how deep it is vs the general public on YouTube. Like. Children and teens watch YouTube, isn't that why it's important to be more clear when on that platform? I like patreon content specifically because it's more casual and things don't have to be spelled out for the kids. Edit 2: i think Adam is correct about the context, that's why I didn't think there was any kind of big deal Last edit: baylens content is what I'm referring to as being /that deep/ when it comes to the harm done. how the boyz responded is the part that I don't think is a big deal. I think you just misunderstood.

Tyla Stark

I always love the game segments, I'd love to see more!

Lee U

The uwu cringe one reads to me like a queer neurodivergent person. Like all that language and style is very of those communities. I know you didn't intend it, but no need to put them down that harshly guys, felt a bit off 💖

Foreverwishes

Can we please have more Jarvis rapping and trying to help out the poor people that wrote it 😂 you’re too kind to try and give him lines
