It’s totally understandable that “Sparkle Squeak” would throw you off from Pikachu. “Pika” in Japanese is used to represent light/sparkling (like how “whoosh” represents blowing wind in English) and often times light and lightning share symbolism in Japanese linguistics.

my brother and i made "pokemon war" where it functioned like regular war and we decided the "higher value" card based on health. except energy cards lost to all pokemon cards unless they were the same type. and fire energy cards beat all other supporter/item cards where all other energy cards lost to them. and we used all 300ish of my cards.
