I have a theory about the ape tattoo! Probably around the time that movie came out some tattoo artist created an original design and I bet it became the number one search on Google images. This happens way more than people realize😅

i'm about to watch but i know it's about tattoos bc i just watched the first 4 minutes of the main ep. so i HAVE to tell you about my dummy, pathological liar, shitbag of a hs exbf who committed too many misdemeanors and didnt graduate hs, so he couldn't join the army. the marines took him, though, and before he even enlisted he got "death before dishonor" tattooed across his whole back. except the guy spelled dishonor "dishonore", and its still one of the funniest moments of karma ive ever gotten to observe in real time. they tried to turn the last e into two guns, but there's really nothing that could be done. sometimes when i'm really depressed, i think about that and it makes me smile.

Tattoo is from the Dawn of the Planet of the Apes remake. Caesar was upset because Koba tried to murder him, took his “throne”, and killed apes that wouldn’t help him eradicate humans. Final fight Koba lost and asked for mercy by quoting Caesar’s earlier saying “Ape no kill ape”, but Caesar lets him fall because he doesn’t consider Koba an ape anymore. However, why that man has it tattooed on his chest is beyond me 😂

So One More Day is worse than that. Aunt May gets shot and is in a coma (this is part of the original Civil War storyline) Peter goes to literally everyone like Dr Strange, Doom, Hank Pym, Reed, and a dozen others who all say "Nope can't heal a bullet wound" at which point Peter sells his marriage with MJ to Mephisto to heal Aunt May. I'm leaving out a LOT of details that make it even worse.

he got a discount tattoo in the absolute middle of nowhere indiana. so, as much as i would LOVE the idea of the tattoo artist doing it intentionally, i think he was *also* just not super bright lol

I think that a part of Taylor's reason for getting the ape tattoo is related to his fraternity. He's in Alpha Phi Alpha, and the "Ape walk" is a popular move they do during strolls. I assume that for him, "ape shall not kill ape" is more associated with his frat rather than the actual origin of the quote.

I've recently developed a reality tv obsession, I've gotten through all of RHOBH and Vanderpump rules and I want to watch Love island because of Ariana Madix and Scandoval. Telling people this invited a lot of smarminess but fr if u guys got into Vanderpump rules you'd be able to visit the restaurants which is wild to me being from Essex, UK, and it might enhance your Love island viewing

Since everyone was talking about comics at the beginning if you want goated transformers media i suggest reading Transformers Skybound its so incredibly good and based on G1 ( Its nothing like the Live action/ Bayverse movies thank god but still is dark and gritty but like... has a soul) EDIT: OH AND ALSO IT CONNECTS WITH A BUNCH OF OTHER COMICS AND ITS REALLY COOL!!
