i’ve only ever been to la one time and i flew in and out from the long beach airport. it’s also super small (it had like 11 gates if i remember correctly) but like still fairly nice, a lot of it is outdoors though so you have to walk in and out between buildings 😭😭

On a similar note to the Merlin app, I CANNOT stop playing SkyCards from flightradar. It's like PokemonGo for airplanes. My wife and I literally yell about new planes across our apartment to each other. I just have to comment about it because it feels in line with everything this podcast is about lol

I also had huge tonsils that made doctors go “woah”. It a family thing because my cousin’s little boy had to have his out because it was making speech difficult when he was a toddler. I had mine out in my 20s because they made me snore so loudly. Vastly improved my sleep and I haven’t had strep since.

honestly my girlfriend is so obsessed with the Merlin app I didn’t realize this was a commonly used app. I thought that she was a niche bird girl but APPARENTLY shes just disconnected from her huge birding community

I have a pigeon, they're actually quite fun and personable. But tbh I've been trying to spread the word that if someone (who isn't bird experienced already) is thinking they want a parrot or something similar, a starling is actually a wonderful alternative! I have two, one is only ~4ish months old, and my girl is ~2 years old; she's very bonded to me and is very sweet and social 😊 she likes to cuddle, and starlings are quite smart so they're a lot more interactive than most small birds imo. She also talks haha and can be quite chatty, it's very cute. That's my PSA lol sorry for piggybacking off your comment, the mention of pigeons caught my attention 😂

in The Sims I mainly use cheat codes to decorate my house bc I love having a fully tailored place. Then I remove all the excess money and live at a reasonable comfortable level, or just under that, and do whatever job stuff I feel like. Though usually I love the interior decor part most for The Sims
