As an American who watches UK panel shows, whenever Mel B is on, I have started to think that she was called scary spice not only because of her race (which I kind of assumed) but also because she is from the north.

when my sister was little (like 5 or something), she became scared of Mel B because she learned her stagename was Scary Spice. She told me years later that her baby brain figured that she would only be named that if she was going to do something scary (spooky) in the music videos 😂

Honestly my read on her is sometimes very self-serious/not getting the jokes all the time or competitive. She seems nice enough though. I only really know her from panel shows and the spice girls music, not a from actual interviews so it's very limited.

Glad you guys talked about Pluribus!! I'm completely caught up and I can't wait until the next season comes out. I've heard many people say it's kind of slow-paced. I get where y'all are coming from, but I'm happy to say I haven't felt that way. I feel like the show is such a raw depiction of how people would act in that situation so it was hard for me to turn away. I loved every minute of it. ^_^
