PLEAAASE DO PUPPETS DUDE I LOVE THEM SO MUCH

Dylan Pascal (aka Dapper Warlock)

The Polly Pocket full of grimy cash reminds me of my favorite angry customer story I like to tell at job interviews: My first job was at a Safeway gas station, and a few times over the four years I worked there I would be called in to a location across town to cover a shift. One of those times, a man walks in and sets a silicone cupholder full of change on the counter. He's on the phone with his daughter, I think, and his truck looks rather large so I assume he must want to put in the change in addition to paying with his card, and I wait for him to say the full amount he wants to put on the pump. He gets angry very quickly at my hesitation and tells me to count up the money. I do so, he puts in his Safeway card and goes out to pump his gas. Now, for whatever reason the silicone cupholder gave all of his coins some sort of horrible greasy film, and since I had to count them all my hands are feeling sticky and grimy. I'm already germaphobic at the best of times, so I quickly go to the sink in the back to wash up. Before I've finished washing my hands, he bursts back into the kiosk and yells, "HEY!!! Are you too busy smoking crack back there to turn on the pump???" I instantly know what his problem is, so I swallow the urge to yell "My hands are dirty from touching your grimy-ass money, so I'm washing them," and instead shout "Press the 'yes' button to use your discount!" Unfortunately, he's already back outside by the time I yell this, so I have to go outside and press the button for him. He grumbles something about it not being visible enough and I just say "Have a nice day" before going back inside.

For a second I started thinking I was re-watching an older episode because y'all read the batman story again lol! Still a good story though!

Love the Hair Struggles discussions, hard relate to the mixed hair + clueless white upbringing woes in particular. Like so many other things in life, it would have been nice to have that information from the start; but it's never too late to learn, and in the end however you feel best wearing your hair is how it looks best. I'm sure you two already know all that, but it doesn't hurt to say it louder for the ppl in the back. <3

Mariya

lmfao Jarvis blaming Jakeys untimely death for not being on the nightz episode

Mariya

just wanna say, Jordan, I grew up with a similar issue. My hair is really curly and my moms isn't because different ethnicity. It wasn't until my first room mate, whos black, was like ".....why arent u using a silk pillow or bonnet" cuz i would complain about waking up with a knot on the back of my head 💀 My life changed forever lol. I never knew a silk pillow or bonnet could help me so much. Never woke up with 1 strong dread on the back of my head ever again lol

Lexi Reece

omg I completely forgot to mention that we cleaned + sanitized the toilet after the piss incident lmao my bad

FellowWhoDonates

“Kill me im filled with kermit” Killed me 💀 and filled me with Kermit

Eric Caprioli

(tw) honestly the best thing hitler has ever done was khs......

if y’all are interested, Caitlin Doughty (Ask a Mortician on YT) has made quite a few videos on traditional funeral/burial alternatives, specifically green (eco-friendly) burials. she also made a video (called “should this funeral director be forgiven?”) about a man who ran a funeral home dedicated to burying unclaimed bodies and helping families who weren’t able to pay the usual costs of a burial or cremation. he sadly has since passed but the video is a very interesting (albeit a bit depressing) look into another layer of what he deemed the war on the poor.

setareh

her books are what led to me studying mortuary science!!

Haunt Grey

The 'do you love your family or a horse' line will live with me forever now

Vis a vis funeral costs - both my parents are dead and I was lucky enough to be the sole funding of their funerals in my 20s. Funeral proprietors are scum of the Earth. My dad died first, the funeral home director said I needed to buy a coffin for the cremation, the cheapest one being around a grand. Found out when I had my mom taken care of at a different funeral home that that was 100% a lie. My mom's funeral cost half as much as my dad's for the same experience, one funeral director was just significantly more honest. The first guy lied to me about what kind of services the VA will cover, lied to me about things I needed to pay for. Really cool to exploit a young grieving working class woman like that.

Joram Coichy

"I cannot render a single fucking receipt" from a few episodes back 😂 so sad in context, but hilarious imo

Ratprints

I need a link to the "im so gay" cat video if its out there

Jenni

A "purse journal" is a fair guess! Polly Pockets are these miniature dollhouse type things that have tiny little dolls, close up in a hard plastic shell/case, come in different themes like a seashell hard case opens up to reveal a little beachscape and mermaid doll for example! Some looked like this: https://images.app.goo.gl/Q35Lx1sx9DVWAgMe8 Super popular in the 90s and kinda making a comeback now. Went through a weird early 2000s phase where the dolls were bigger and their clothes were very satisfying to chew on (just a little bit).

Temu's commercial stating "I'm shopping like a billionaire" in the song brings me pain. Anything you buy from there will probably be falling apart at the seams before it even ships to your house.

Célia Jankowski

Does anybody know what the cat video Jordan talked about is? Because I absolutely need to see it too

I cant believe yall read my story YES the hat was too big to fit in the stall NO i never got it back but holy shit i cannot believe u read my story i was cackling at ur commentary

Grace -

those things were so dope! I had a babysitter who had a collection and she would play them with us frequently. very awesome and cool

Grace -

Ok im witch person and i truly cannot tell you how much this commentary made my day I laughed so hard!!! RIP my velvet sombrero… i’ll find another one someday. I also think ur witch commentary was so funny because I’m actually a practicing witch (makes it an easy Halloween costume) and truthfully. they really were trialing me. her taking the hat was an act of anti lgbt violence actually

Jenni

I miss all my childhood ones 🥲 also RIP your hat 💕

Kendall

My job is generally great and same with the people I work with. But the biggest downside is the push for us to work unpaid overtime (it is only paid if you work 10% over for the whole year 🙄). The other week, a management person mentioned how some people are working a lot of overtime and the rest of us should be stepping up to help share the load with our “friends”. Like it’s our fault and not a management & hiring issue.

marcy

damn it's Socko not Socky put some respect on homeboys name frfr me and him were in the same fraternity, we got hazed together

marcy

(this is in reference to a very in-passing comment in the literal fourth minute of the episode don't mind me at all lmao)

Ellie Gifford

I went to a prison escape room and there was a prop toilet, we were told not to use it and that they hate when people do that, they even alluded to the fact that people have pooped in it. What made it worse was that there was yellow food colored water and like rubber poop and there was a key in the toilet so you had to reach in. There was also a sink but it was a prop too and there was no way to sanitize your hands

Alek.Sparks

just watching this episode now lmao and yeah it is me! You guys got the right Alek haha

Alex

the polly pocket could be refering to those plastic sleves you put into ringbinder folders

Hannah

Okay the pee clue paper would be possible but it would be 1000 times funnier if it was specifically written in the chemical they use in pregnancy strips or the chemical they use in ovulation strips.

Tinna Gigja

I don't know why, but when Jarvis says 'pollypocket' instead of 'Polly Pocket', it sounds like a euphemism for a vagina.

Willow Yraguen

Mime is a Batman villain. Her parents died in an explosion in a fireworks factory, so she became obsessed with silence. She became a criminal through stealing bells from churches and disrupting concerts.

Grace -

I’m rewatching this for my witch hat part because it’s killing meeee HOW DO THEY CAST SPELLS

binapple

I have 2 minimum wage jobs where I just get misgendered all day so hearing you guys always acknowledge and respect pronouns cheers me up so much
