Drawn at Random

It's such a cute design, the shirt was the first thing I noticed at the start of the main vid!

Nia

Jarvis’ face in the picture tells the story all by itself 😂

Mallow

Amazing pod as per usual boyz, watched this during my graduation today!

Moe

This is my last Nightz episode for a while until I get a new job! At least I'll have a nice backlog of bonus eps when I can come back!

Harmony Kooistra-Floyd

I think it cut out once when Jarvis was quoting something a man said to a female employee. I assume it was on purpose to filter it a bit (in case some of us ain't need to hear all that) but I could be wrong?

Scott Wannan-Johnston

i'm assuming the audio out at 38:50 is cause a dude writer said some gross sexist garbage. Edit: read the article. Safe bet.

Sarah

THE FACE I MADE WHEN HE SAID WHAT HE SAID HOLY SHIT

GarbageSalt

that's what i assumed too

GarbageSalt

good luck in the job hunt :-)

Peri

Yes, you can find the quote they’re talking about and tbh I understand why they cut it out — it’s a very gross comment from one of the male writers that’s just blatant sexual harassment.

Theodora Undergrove

Amazing episode, watched this a couple days later. I love how Jarvis explains things, and the rapport between them is super good. I cleaned during most of this and distracted myself with a game I'm very into. Good episode. God bless

Mayah Johnson

I need to know where Jarvis got his shirt!!!

Erin

Hey Sadboyz, thank you for the episode this week :) I apologize if this isn't the right platform to ask, but would you be interested in posting a video about how Reddit has gone after all third-party APIs, especially Apollo? It's a little techie of a topic. However, primarily it is about how Reddit's CEO resorts to some of the slimiest tactics to justify their slander, lies and manipulative icing out of people who helped make the platform into what it is today.  Apollo for Reddit is an application, but not only that, it's a passion project that originated with Christian Selig, a student fresh out of college, whose app's first launch had Reddit so impressed they hired him on the spot, but now they are forcing him to shut down the platform by June 30th :( There's a story that's not really being discussed in the YouTube community, and it's pretty devastating the tactics Reddit has utilized to clean house before taking the company public, just like what Twitter did earlier this year.  It might disappear, and if it does, I have saved a copy, but there is a recording between the two parties that depicts that Reddit sees Christian's advancement of their GUI as a third-party client as a threat to the company's future. The sad thing is that if Reddit weren't so fixated on its bottom line, they would realize that Christian Selig doesn't want to steal Reddit for himself. Honestly, if Apollo's app creator weren't Canadian, he would be sued not only into silence, but they would probably bankrupt the guy.  Here's the link to the story, or you can look up the ApolloApp Subreddit https://www.reddit.com/r/apolloapp/comments/144f6xm/apollo_will_close_down_on_june_30th_reddits/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3 If you can help this topic receive a little more exposure in any way, maybe it would help him save his platform, Reddit really won't be the same without him, and this has been devastating to watch without the ability to do anything to help.  Again, I'm so sorry, Jarvis and Jordan, if this isn't the right place to ask! Thanks for hearing me out, and I hope you have a great week :)

Drew Clanton

That One Nerd

Late, but the section where Jordan talks about how directors get credit for getting good acting out when they abuse and hurt the actors/writers/crew on set reminds me of the several directors commentaries on Children-Led emotional movies (example: Stand by Me) where the directors brag about making the children cry during the emotional moments by telling them traumatic things and making them think about horrible things happening to their parents like, truly awful things and they *brag* about it. It sucks, I guess, is what im saying

Jori

Director section - I think you are actually a shitty director if you have to terrorize people to get a product. I also think method acting is absolutely ridiculous, but that's a whole other story. There is proof that directors who foster a great work environment can achieve amazing things and look, it doesn't create or continue the cycle of generational trauma 🙃

jazzcabbage

i just fell to my knees i never knew that lost without U is by robin thicke
