Dudes after working nonstop basically due to having to train new hires etc. At my job — this podcast and the extra episodes are some of the only things that help me turn off my brain and reset my stress meter. So I just want to say thank y’all for reminding me I’m an actual human! This is my little moment where I can just chill with other people who enjoy the show- and just be. Oh VIM … My first software job years ago was with an oldhead C-purist guy, was super smart and laid back but refused to let me use any text editor other than vim, so for my first year I worked out of 4 console windows… felt like a wizard flying around code/files without ever touching a mouse. It sounds miserable, but I will say I still use VIM for VS/VS Code to this day 😅
