Stream Results—November 14th, 2018: Detective Pikachu and Steamhorse (Patreon)

A brand new batch of stream results for y'all—you know, from my weekly Twitch monster making stream you all already know about! This one was from right before I left on my 2 week vacation, so I did one that was a little shorter than normal. In any case, stats and descriptions are below, and you can find the GM Binder doc right here.

And once again, as always, I am forever indebted to everyone who keeps tuning in!

Now for the monsters:

Detective Pikachu

The iconic pokemon, as pictured in the trailer for the new movie coming out next year that had just recently (at the time of the stream) set the internet on fire. This one was requested by Discord regular @Tanuki.

For this one, I more or less took the pikachu stat block from the pokemon post I did a million years ago, and applied some inquisitor rogue inquisitor class levels to it. I wanted to do more than that initially, but after doing this, the stat block was already huge for a CR 4 creature. :/

Steamhorse

This one was a frontpage post on reddit in which I was tagged by a few different folks (and in fact I saw a repost of it on the front page just today).

What I came up with was very similar to the Artifice Bison I did on reddit once upon a time, but bigger and faster! My whole inspirational concept around designing this thing was "speeding locomotive running headlong into a castle gate," and this informed nearly every design decision I made from start to finish.

Well, that's another one. Thanks once more—because I really can't ever thank these saints enough—to everyone who keeps tuning into these streams. I really enjoy doing them, and I hope y'all like watching them.

Thanks again! Cheers!
