Hey everyone,

It's time again for another batch of stat blocks from my weekly Twitch monster making stream!

As per usual, you'll find stats and descriptions below, and the GM Binder doc right here.

But of course, as always, my humblest thanks to everyone who tuned in this week. You guys are what make this cool.

Now... monsters:

Cornell, Dark Lord of the Lycans (Transformed)

Suggested by our friend @whistlehunter, continuing last week's stat block for his first form.

It's Cornell again, but this time he's bigger and meaner! For this, I ended up starting off with my Cornell stat block from last week, then increasing the size, changing his attacks to natural weapons, and then basically just making him tougher and faster.

There were a few elements that, while not terribly hard to work out mechanically, figuring out how to work them in was another story. Specifically, in the game, Cornell has a massive roar attack, beams of moonlight that shoot down from the sky, and some magical statues that make him invulnerable. I ended up fitting the roar as a normal action, but the beams and the statues really seemed better-suited for Lair actions, so you'll find them there (listed in the GM Binder link above).

Strange Cloak

Suggested by @SherlockHole, based on Doctor Strange's Cloak of Levitation, from the Marvel Universe.

This one was a lot of fun, and I'm actually quite pleased with how it turned out.

I think that having a high-level magic item that is not only very powerful as an item, but that can also act independently as an ally in combat is just rad.

What's more, all of the abilities for this one more or less just fell into place straight from the source as I was working on it. The powers are broad, but the big, characteristic, trademark ones are all pretty straightforward, and didn't take much effort to get them to work mechanically in 5e.

Fey Hunter

This one was also suggested by @whistlehunter, based on some artwork from the absurdly talented Roman Ankenbrandt.

The source here actually didn't have any real background to it, so it was completely open to interpretation. Whistlehunter loved the idea of a fey that hunts other fey, so we went with that.

The figure is clearly seen wielding a longsword and a shortsword, so a fast, dual-wielding warrior assassin seemed like the best route. Doing that means a strong multiattack with good attack modifiers, a decent AC, plus a bunch of traits and features that allow it to stay mobile, avoid attacks, and position itself tactically. Traits from the Spy, Assassin, and Knight NPCs, as well as the elves' Fey Ancestry all helped in that respect.

After that, truesight from that badass helmet, and a raven shapechange form were suggested, and both were easy enough additions.

And that's them.

Once again, thanks so much for watching the live streams, y'all. I have a lot of fun doing it, and I hop you do too! :D

Until the next one, cheers!
