Somehow I get “maybe redeemable” vibes from Jacques? Somehow? I kinda wanna see it, if only in a “final moment” type way, I definitely don’t see it happening under normal circumstances. Not that The Arc’s presence can be conceived remotely normal lol.

If there ever is a "fuck you" said to Jacques, I want it to be Willow. Jaune can simply piss him off by not giving in and just being sincere, the one person he can't intimidate or break. But if Willow ever decides to let that bitch have it, she will NOT hold back and I'm anxious to see it.

Ugh I hate Jacques so much I hope he falls off a cliff and gets eaten by Grimm that or Weiss arrests him like in the show. He is why Weiss's family is so toxic and needs to go. Everything was going so well until he showed up to ruin it as he does most things. I digress, wonderful chapter of Jaune meeting Weiss's family and him sticking up for Weiss was an incredible moment as not even Jaune was going to take that lying down.

I really enjoyed Whitley in this chapter. Due to his upbringing, he only know one way of life. So to see him confused but intrigued with Jaune's life is neat.

Well Jaune did charm her family, aside from the usual dickhead. And I love how sweet Weiss and Jaune were on each other this chapter.

Honest criticism: have you thought about reducing the amount of descriptions like describing the taste of food or the layout of a hotel (casino ..etc.) Adds little value to the overall narrative and story progression and it takes up quite a bit of the chapter.

Agreed on the tad bit high amount of descriptive language, sometimes less is more. Otherwise I enjoyed this and look forward to more!
