I was not expecting an ace vs Blackbeard fight so early, damn.

I think you're overlooking something when it comes to the light and Blackbeard. It's the middle of the day, he's already affected by light. Ace's light from fire isn't affecting him more than the sun. Pretty sure that's also why he can be hit, it's like Crocodile on a rainy day, except can't just cause the sun to go out like Croc can cause a drought.

True but my point was with the light, even though the sun is light, it's minimal. If I put a flashlight in your face during the day, it's still gonna affect the shit out of you lol. I was thinking ace would provide more intensity of a light source. But I suppose not.

Yeah the "nothing happens" comments are basically a meme at this point, don't let that affect your expectations of Thriller Bark. I wish people would stop saying that in every reaction channel because I've noticed cases where it negatively affected the reactor experience. Try to ignore them.

Bakura Magic

Honestly that's a fair point, I was thinking in relation to his devil fruit, but ace could defiantly have his techniques be blinding.

Don't let preconceptions of "nothing happens" affects your assumption of the arc. Thriller Bark is in fact a very important arc. Oda is about doing things long term. It sets up some very important stuff and the arc itself has a lot to offer. In short: LOTS happen in that arc. Like a lot.

The Water 7 arc has always been my favorite. Thriller Bark is great and has many surprises to look forward to. Just keeps getting better and better!

Black Sails is INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!! *that* moment with teach was the most intense scene I’ve ever seen

I'm sure you know this by now. But revolutionary does not mean villain, it usually means Liberator. Also I feel like I'm catching up way too fast. But I don't want to slow down lol
